Thank-you for dropping by!

The Potter’s Hand Bible Church was first planted in February, 2003.  I came to a crossroads in my llife. God had put an unrest in my spirit.  I wanted to do something new, creative, and godly.  Through many months of prayer and searching, God gave a vision to me and to Bro. Matt for a new body and a new approach to ministry, where people come together to make “the main thing the main thing”.   It was to be a place of worship, praise, Bible Study, service, and fellowship.  It was to be a hospital for the lost and hurting.

On Sunday, February 16, 2003, the first celebration of PHBC was held at Cary Christian School.  We weren’t sure how many would attend, but we were convinced that we were supposed to be there.  There were 88 worshippers present.  Our attendance has steadily grown, resulting in our moving four times to find adequate space for our needs.

The last move we made is to the incredible facility that we now meet in. Three years ago, I felt that God would someday give us this building, and He did.  We are now enjoying the blessings that the new building affords us!

Our priority at PHBC is worship.  We believe that this is what is required before anything else.  We do things a little differently here and we think you’ll like it.  We have small cell groups that meet during the week, as well as Sunday morning.  You won’t find committees, but ministry teams.  If you come to see us, you will find folks dressed casual and comfortable.  You will hear, see, and hopefully experience the Lord in a modern, relevent, contemporary style of worship. You can even pick up a cup of coffee and doughnut on your way in!  Our worship is designed to meet you wherever you are on your “spiritual journey.”

I have never been so thrilled or so challenged in my life.  I am changing, and PHBC is changing every week. I hope that you will come and see us.
